The Confederacy 1.6 team has been placed in CAL-Invite and CEVO-Semi Professional for the upcoming seasons. This week we kick off the season openers for both leagues, starting tonight for CEVO against UGP and on Wednesday for CAL against UGP again. After a brief hiatus from CAL-Invite and CEVO-Professional, the Counter-Strike 1.6 division for Confederacy has returned!
The team achieved national notoriety after winning CAL-Premier and going on to compete in North America's most prestigious leagues. Confederacy has been invited to participate in the CAL-Invite placement tournament, and will be competing in CEVO. Returning from the original squad is Doug "jacoBson" Jacobson, Vince "fr3aK" DeCarlo, Jacob "flashback" Carter, Nicholas "anTs" Cuomo, and Liridon "quas" Ademaj, along with the new additions of Austin "apierce" Pierce and Spencer "skiM" Kim. Confederacy CS 1.6 has retired.
All good things have to come to rest at one time or another. Today is that day...
Confederacy CS has been around for the better part of the organization's entire existence. With that came many accomplishments. All of which make me proud to have taken part of or witnessed.
With recent success however, that lies soley with Jacobson's drive. His push to be the best was apparent even when I was still playing with the team. Even more so after my time with the game. Many thanks goes to Jacobson for all his hard with with the team. While he and the team are no longer apart of this organization, I wish him the very best in his new home at CaribOne.

Tonight our Counter-Strike 1.6 squad will be squaring off against the number 11 seed, Revolution Sports, in the CAL-Invite lower bracket round 3. rSports is coming off an overtime win against Meepins and should be well prepared for this one. The map that will be played is none other than most controversial maps in counter-strike, de_cbble. With this type of map it could be anybody's game, so tune into this one and be sure to catch a great game!

Recently Confederacy has made the addition of two new players, Jasper "sfX" Ko and Mike "mkpro" Rogers. A couple days have past since they joined, but I have caught up with them and was able to conduct this interview and would like to thank them for thier time.
Q: To start off, will you please introduce yourself just to clarify who you are, where you are from, etc.
|Co|sfX - I'm Jasper Ko, I'm 17 and I live in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania. I played from teams such as MindScape and Paragon of Virtue, not much known teams but it made me who I am today. My parent's background is mostly Taiwanese and I was born in the US.
|Co|mkpro - I'm Mike Rogers, I'm 17 I live in Fairfax, Virginia. I previously played for CaribOne, and pernicious Vengeance.
